Our Approach
We believe that the health of our relationships - romantic, family, professional, and friendships - tells us a lot about our own health and well-being.
Much of how we engage relationally comes from a version of a story we have about ourselves - we carry those narratives into all aspects of our lives. For better or worse! Every relationship has unique needs and challenges. Our work with individuals and couples, starts with a lens of how we exist relationally. We focus on 'forward momentum'.

We understand that couples work is difficult and can lead to uncomfortable conversations – we’ve been there ourselves and guide the conversations to be their most productive and reparative, with compassion and open minds.

We help couples to achieve more harmonious relationships. We recognize that all relationships experience cycles of harmony, disharmony, and repair. Often, partners adopt roles and patterns in relationships that stem from old narratives or models that were learned while growing up (many times without realizing you are learning them!). We sometimes hold onto these old patterns that may have worked at other points in our life, or helped us as children, but are no longer productive or helpful in our adult relationships. We will help to uncover these patterns and replace them with new ways that will benefit you and your relationships.

Relationships thrive on balance and equality between the partners and our sessions focus on respectful expression without blame, anger, retaliation, or condemnation.

In our sessions we will address relationship concerns, also focusing in on the origins of the underlying issues. The long-term goal is to establish insight and tools for you to take into all of your relationships.
